Sucker Punch

When I went to go see Sucker Punch I had heard that it wasn't very good so i went in with low expectations, and when I left I felt it was right to do so. The story is about a girl only referred to as 'Baby Doll"(Emily Browning) having a traumatic experience involving her mothers murder and abuse from a man. She is sent to a mental asylum wear she is about to be lobotomized but she awakes in to a alternative reality , which she uses to help her cope with her situation as she bands with the other girls to escape. The film features action scenes regularly which feel out of place and point less. Action scenes are common in Zach Snyders films but these seem completely random. Also in-between the action scenes the dialogue seems like filler until we can get to the next one. Also the main character is boring, in the beginning she seems like she is very complex but we never see that. I would rate it as a 2 out of 5, wouldn't recommend it but there are worse.

Fast Five

When I saw this film it was only to pass some time, I didn't go in thinking it was going to be great because I only mildly enjoyed the others, so I'm not a fan of the franchise.  The story is about Dominic and the gang trying to evade the law in rio while driving fast cars and planning one last great heist. Something i really didn't like was Dwayne Johnson's character Hobbs, he is the leader of the task force whose job it is to stop Dominic. This character is just an incredibly muscular man running around, shouting, shooting and fighting Vin Diesel at every opportunity. He is a joke.
Also I think the film could have ended earlier than it did and I kept thinking it was going to end but it didn't.
overall I would give it a 3 out of 5, if you liked the others you may like this.
